Aircare Engineering was started in 1974 in Leura in the Blue Mountains as a small family business by Doug Rendell, doing installation and service on air-conditioning and oil heating units and furnaces.

Although this was a reputable business, intense competition from more prominent brands at the time meant it was becoming an unsustainable venture. A few months later, Doug decided to change our business focus and pursue a skill he grew up learning. Aircare Engineering switched to metal fabrication, but the business name remained unchanged.

Aircare spent the next 28 years in the Katoomba and Blue Mountains region fabricating structural and Architectural steel.

In 2003, our business moved to Young, NSW. It continued as a family business with Doug and his son Bill, continuing to offer the same high-quality, long-lasting metal fabrication as we had in the Blue Mountains. During the next 17 years, we gradually but steadily grew, training many highly motivated and skilled people, some would stay until retirement, and others pursued their own careers, building solid businesses of their own.

In 2020 we finally made the decision to change our name to Integrity Metal Solutions to better reflect who we are, and what we do. It’s the same high-quality fabrication we have given for almost 50 years. We continually expand our services as we acquire new equipment and train in different areas to ensure we fulfil our customer’s needs.
