how we tackled the brief given to us
Lipman Builders contacted us about creating a high-quality balustrading solution and stainless handrails for their client, Charles Sturt University Orange.
CSU Orange were building a new academic hub and medical teaching facilities to better their students’ studies and needed modern balustrading to contrast with the surrounding gardens alongside seamless stainless hand-railing in indoor and outdoor staircases.

Challenges: Lifting heavy solid plate stair stringers into place
We worked with Adaptive Interiors to design the stair stringers and beautiful 3-story stainless handrails to fit in with their aluminium wood print battens in the building’s interior. We then installed our bolt-together steel balustrading along the front entrance and path as well as a back patio/entrance, all powder-coated in a modern matte black. It was quite the fun challenge hand cranking the large heavy stringers up 2 levels without even scratching the coating.
